Good news-we have signed a lease for a different apartment in the same complex! I was worried that we would have to switch complexes, so I am glad everything is now figured out.  It is slightly more expensive because it is more square feet and the layout is different, but we decided it was worth it.  We will for sure now have a place to move into at the beginning of June (yay!).

I also received a call this past week from the man I will be working for.  His name is Nick and he is incredibly nice.  He called to check in to see how I was doing and if I needed any help or had any questions.  He then also said that he wanted to share what I would be working on when I started-because he was impatient and would want to know right away if he was in my shoes.  He told me my first project is going to be process planning for Disney’s Fairytale Weddings.  AHHHHH!  I wanted to cry.  This is a dream come true. He said afterwards I would be working with Floral & Gifting.

I can’t express how excited I am to get down to Florida RIGHT NOW.  Everything is seemingly falling into place and I was certainly not expecting to be working with Fairytale Weddings right away.  I also found out that my work location is at the Disney Event Group (DEG) building which is near Port Orleans.  If you want to check out their website, click here.  When I was looking at careers with Disney before the Professional Internship applications even came out, I really wanted to figure out how to get a job at the Disney Event Group.  I must have a Fairy Godmother because this seems too good to be true.

I also decided to start vlogging.  I really wanted to do it during my college program but I didn’t have the time (I barely kept this blog going-sorry Uncle Dan).  I posted my first video to my Youtube channel which is just an introduction, but I will hopefully get more videos up soon.  My Youtube channel is “The Princess and the Mouse” but you can watch the one I just posted below.  I’m definitely new to this whole video thing and it is a lot more complicated than it seems.  Thanks for all the support!
