Today I slept in until noon. It felt quite nice. I was so tired from the past few days that I think I needed a morning to sleep as long as possible and not set an alarm.

I got up and hung out with my roommate Stephanie and a friend of hers until I decided to get ready for work.  I didn’t have to go in until 6pm so I decided that I would stop at costuming on the way so I wouldn’t have to do laundry.  I had an online rewards coupon from Panera Bread that was going to expire so I ordered myself a half panini and a cup of french onion soup for take out.

It turns out that I don’t like french onion soup, or at least the kind from Panera Bread. I stopped at Starbucks to get some unsweetened Passion Fruit Iced Tea (my favorite) and headed to costuming.  It was raining all morning but had luckily lightened up once I got there.

It was an experience trying to figure out how to return my costumes because the workers normally do not speak English and everything is digital.  To return my costumes I had to put them in a wire basket and a sensor scanned all of them out of my name automatically.  I got five fresh uniforms and even went down a size in the pants, woop!

If you work at 6pm it means that you are working at the pool which is one of my favorite places to work.  When I arrived the pool had been closed since before 3:30pm due to the lightning. I went to Tango and found my coordinator and a few coworkers there.  We just sat around and talked for a half hour while we waited for the pool to reopen.

I was working the pool with Glenn when it reopened which is always my favorite person to work the pool with because 1. he works hard and 2. he brings candy and gives me some.  He is usually munching on skittles or caramels-today it was old fashioned green apple candies and candied pecans.

The pool was very slow the first half hour and Glenn went on break at 7pm so it was just me!  There were also a lot of odd guests.  I had a lady who was looking at the castle ask me “Where is Magic Kingdom?” and then she proceeded to ask if she could see the fireworks even if there were trees in front of the castle.  The pool got busier but overall it was an easy night.
